“Pursuing Peace” affirms dynamic women who are leaders to rise up with persistency and bravery. Inspired by the biblical women who overcame their individual hardship to gain a deeper faith. This collection acknowledges and redefines the “ideal” by dressing women of strength and morality.

Each look represents the vision of Christian feminism in different variations. These women display that overcoming barriers reveals a depth, fluidity for change, and an active, uplifting unity. Doves and water are the reoccurring motifs that symbolize the holy spirit, which is the source needed for spiritual, emotional, and mental transformation. This breaks down the systematic cages of oppression, and allows one to experience peace.

Women from different backgrounds have come together for this collection to hand sew intricacy and life into each piece. This collective formed a sense of community and dialogue about how to further female empowerment. By accentuating the intimacy in creation and the level of detail, “Pursuing Peace” translates the pure form of peace and love God designed for us.
